Vicky Browne is primarily an installation artist with an interest in sound art on a domestic, lo-tech and everyday level. Her work uses everyday sound devises like iPods, mobile phones, CD players and walkmans. These gadgets are manipulated, broken, reinvented and reused to expose their meaning and relevance to the world. Vicky has exhibited in Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand for the past 8 years and lives in the Blue Mountains.
