As part of the Instant Kalpa(s) exhibition at the Thailand Biennale, Liquid Architecture invites Angelita Biscotti to deliver a sound and music mix to be played at Barbansan as part of the programs 'sonic offerings' series.

Curated by a collective led by Merv Espina (PHI), Instant Kalpa(s) is a co-lateral space/time that emerges in response to the Biennale’s theme of Eternal Kalpa. If kalpa refers to a vast cosmic time span, instant kalpa invites us into a contradiction - an ephemeral eternity, a sachet-sized cosmos, a moment that rots into compost and becomes something else.

Angelita Biscotti (AUS) delivers an eerie and surrealistic sound collage with techno flourishes. An uncanny blend of gonzo field recordings from Manila (Philippines) and Naarm (Melbourne, Australia), with improvisations on guitar, bass, piano, synthesisers and electronic processing. Composition, recording and mixing exclusively by Angelita Biscotti.
