Jon Rose will be invited to present a new work at Liquid Architecture 12 (2011). His current project is k-bow; the palimpolin.
Since 2001 Jon Rose is again living in Australia: in 2005 he finished a major commission Pannikin for The Melbourne Festival, and was awarded a 2 year fellowship from The Australia Council to research and develop The Ball Project. In 2009 The Kronos String Quartet and The Sydney Opera House commissioned Music from 4 Fences.

His music is released internationally via a variety of a number of record labels and has received numerous reviews in both the national and international press.

Joel Cahen, Z'EV and Frank Perry - live performance at Wet Sounds Lido, 10th July 2010 5:31
John Wynne (UK) - Response Time 4:05
The above piece will be included in the Wet Sounds program of pre-recorded pieces. John Wynne has a PhD in sound art from Goldsmiths College and is a senior lecturer at the University of the Arts London. 'Response Time' uses a set of auditory warnings to explore the dividing line between ignoring something because we hear it all the time and listening because it signifies something directly relevant to ourselves. It also brings out the abstract beauty and musical qualities of these sounds, attributes usually obscured by their high annoyance factor.
Robin Edwards (UK) - Luquet 7:57
Another piece Joel will include in his Wet Sounds program. The sound sources in this piece were collected during the summer of 07 whilst in the southwest of France. Sources include busy street markets, the countryside and sounds from a mosaic artist studio. Luquet explores composite sounds and is structured into three contrasting parts, each exploring different sound environments. A sonic postcard perhaps. Originally from North Wales, Robin grew up tinkering and recording various instruments on his parent laptop. His interest in home recording led him to his own computer and to study Creative Music Technology at The Royal Welsh College of Music, Using the studio as a creative tool his interests are in electroacoustic compositions and field recording. Currently Robin works on sound design and composition, he is also a member of Krautrock band Means Heinz and Mwsog, a live A/V collective based in Cardiff.
